2010 CKHS PTSA Scholarship Application

Purpose of PTSA Scholarship:

To recognize students who are making a difference in their school and/or community.

Eligibility:

All CKHS seniors who plan on furthering their education through study at a college or vocational school during the 2010/2011 school year.

Judging Criteria:

Applications will be scored as follows:

• Scholastic Achievement 5%
• Involvement in School Activities 15%
• Volunteer activities 50%
• Short essay 30%
• Applications will have names removed and be judged by an independent panel.

Amount of award:

Up to $1500 will be distributed amongst the winners by the judges. Awards could range from $250 - $1000 and will be sent directly to the student’s educational institution.

Application Deadline:

Monday, April 5, 2010

Submit your transcripts to CKHS PTSA Scholarship Committee by filling out the transcript request form and checking the “hold for pick-up in the Counseling Office” box.
