How to Help

Research has consistently shown that adult participation in schools benefits families and students. CKHS PTSA offers a variety of ways for parents and community members to become involved. Consider registering your grocery cards to support the PTSA at no additional cost to you. As part of the largest youth advocacy organization in the state, members have the opportunity to make their voices heard - you can help by contacting your legislators about youth and education issues. Become a Member

This year’s PTSA theme, “Making a Difference – One Member at a Time!” reminds us that we can make a positive difference for our students and schools, in a variety of ways. PTSA membership is a great way to show your support, stay informed as to what is happening at CKHS and in Olympia, and to learn about opportunities for involvement.

Donate

We appreciate the generous financial and in-kind support of individuals and businesses in our community and gratefully accept donations payable to CKHS PTSA. Donations are tax deductible.

Volunteer

Upcoming volunteer opportunities are posted on the website regularly and sent to members and other interested individuals via the PTSA email. In addition, we can refer you to other volunteer opportunities (tutoring etc) in the school.

Fundraisers

With so many important student groups and booster clubs at CKHS, working hard to raise money, the PTSA makes every effort to minimize fundraisers and yet meet our financial goals. We rely on memberships, contributions and “work” opportunities, where we can serve the community and “earn” something for the PTSA. We work with the community to promote local products and services at no additional costs to the buyer. Finally, CKHS PTSA is now signed up with Safeway (E-scrip). Register your card to benefit the PTSA and Safeway will donate a percentage of your sales- it costs you nothing and out of town friends, relatives and alumni can participate too!
